Opening Times: Saturdays and Sundays in April through to October from noon. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until October from 2:00 p.m. (August only - from noon.) Last entry on all days: 4:00 p.m. The House is only shown by guided tour. At weekends the tours are normally at 12.30, 2.30 and 4pm. Tuesdays-Fridays normally at 2.30 and 4pm. Tours last about an hour and a quarter. During August there will be tours at 12.30 on Tuesdays-Fridays

Run your mouse over the plan above which will show various "hot spots". Click on any of these to be transported to a picture of that section of the garden. Obviously, this tour is a pale imitation of a visit to the garden where the vivid colours are enhanced by the smells of the herbs and the sounds of the countryside. When you click on the hot spots, you will also find a list of herbs that were planted in that area at the time the garden was first opened. Clearly, these lists will change from time to time.
