The West Wales Herb group formed in 2004 our aim is to raise interest and awareness in herbs within our community. All aspects are covered from growing herbs, using them in medicines and other forms of healing, in cooking, using them as an expression in many art forms, learning about the history of herbs and their related plants.

We organize public events with speakers, garden visits, plant walks, demonstrations and social events. As the West Wales area covers a very large area incorporating at least 4 counties, we try to use various venues ranging from the National Botanic Garden of Wales to local village halls. This also means that we have no regular meetings but we do arrange events all over the West Wales region.
